Cosmetic Injectables

At Acacia Natural Medicine we offer Natural and Natural Looking Aesthetic services which include: Advanced laser treatments (learn more here), injectable options provided by our advanced nurse injector- Sculptra®, PDO threads, Botox®/Dysport®, Juvéderm® and Kybella®.

There are several companies that make FDA-approved versions of botulinum toxin which have been approved for use in the United States, including Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®. These injections are the most common cosmetic procedure performed in the United States. Why? Because they are extremely effective at relaxing unwanted wrinkles and frown lines, dramatically helping to restore a healthy and youthful appearance. And with no surgery and minimal or no downtime, you can look years younger without anyone ever thinking that ‘you had something done.’ While smiling and laughing are a part of life, the wrinkles that they cause no longer need to be.

The optimal use of Botox depends on the precise placement of the product in the right portion of each facial muscle. Each face is different and many injectors without training follow a cookie-cutter pattern that can increase the likelihood of a side effect. Why trust the injection of this product to anyone other than someone who regularly performs facial injections and is keenly aware of the skin’s underlying muscles and anatomy.

Many of our patients use Botox® injections to provide jaw pain and headache/migraine relief, in addition to maintaining a smoother appearance and prevent further signs of aging.

As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Sculptra® helps restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial wrinkles. Sculptra® works with your body within the deep dermis to help revitalize collagen production and help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume. Sculptra® may stimulate collagen growth which helps to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds over time.

Sculptra® is made with a biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist. The specialist injects treatment into the appropriate dermal plane where strands of collagen support your skin's structure. Over time, Sculptra® helps the body reproduce lost collagen. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a sugar naturally produced by the body that retains moisture in the skin. The main ingredient in JUVÉDERM® fillers is a modified form of HA. JUVÉDERM® fillers temporarily restore volume loss in certain areas of the face and help provide long-lasting, natural-looking results.

As you age, the cheek area loses its youthful shape. The cheeks flatten out and the skin may begin to sag. JUVEDERM® VOLUMA® XC injectable gel is designed to temporarily reverse these signs of aging. It is a gel that is injected into the cheek area to lift the skin. It temporarily adds volume to the cheek area and results in a smoother contour and a more youthful appearance to the face. JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC provides natural-looking and long-lasting results that last up to 2 years with optimal treatment.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC is an injectable gel that temporarily adds more fullness and plumps thin lips—whether your lips have thinned over time or you simply want fuller lips—in adults over the age of 21.  JUVEDERM® Ultra XC is a crystal-clear gel that is injected directly into and around the lips using a small needle to temporarily add the desired range of fullness for lip enhancement in adults over the age of 21.
