We are happy you're here and we are ready to serve you with a truly integrative approach. As a new patient to our office, it is important that you know what to expect when joining the Acacia family. Once you schedule your appointment, you will receive all of your paperwork via email. We ask that you complete the intake and consent forms prior to your arrival.
Once you arrive to our office, you will be greeted by our patient coordinator, Tracy, with whom you will share your story. She will be your first set of ears.
Step 1 Information Collection: Our patient coordinator, Tracy, will gather the details of your history, labs, imaging, medications, and prior treatment/surgeries. She will listen intently to your concerns and desires for health as this is essential in understanding the underlying cause of any issue. After the collection of information, Tracy will share her findings with Dr. Byrne.
Step 2 Focused Musculoskeletal Exam: Following your time with Tracy, you will proceed to meet with Dr. Byrne. Her goal during your time together is to identify pain or dysfunction that may be associated with your joints, muscles, ligaments, or tendons. She will learn more about your movements and your health concerns associated with daily activities.
*If you are in acute/severe musculoskeletal pain call/text our office to schedule 480-702-1537*
Step 3 Review of Internal Systems: Your last stop on your initial visit will be with Dr. Brock. Based on the information gathered from Tracy and the findings from Dr. Byrne's exam, you can expect Dr. Brock to go into detail regarding internal health. This may be associated with hormone health, gastrointestinal concerns, brain or adrenal health, just to name a few. She will connect the dots as she moves through your final assessment within our integrative experience.
Depending on your case, you may be receiving paperwork on your initial visit to complete lab tests, imaging, or other special tests as recommended by the doctors.
Our process is truly what makes our medical care unlike any other office. Following your 60 minute, in-depth initial visit, Dr. Brock, Dr. Byrne, and Tracy sit down and review all of the findings from that appointment. This meeting happens on the same day as your initial visit. Often times, a follow up appointment will not be made when you leave the office but instead, you will receive a phone call with the plan moving forward. You deserve to have a treatment plan that serves you and this process allows us to do that.
